Tony and Barb Travel Tales
Some pictures and stories from places we have visited.
Snorkeling in Jemeluk Bay, Amed, Bali June 2011
Our snorkeling in Amed this time was quite amazing. This was mainly due to us being there at the time of the full moon with it's large tide variation and it was also the beginning of the Dry Season when the water quality is greatly improved.
Bali visit June 2011
On this visit we mainly came to check on progress in the building project. Though we had an amazing time because the water conditions for snorkeling were so great. The water visibility was fantastic and the large tide variations allowed us to get very close to the coral as well. To view a slide-show of our visit click on the arrow below.
Sinpapore
Our visit to Singapore was quite a eye opener. The vibrant lifestyle and modern facilities were quite amazing. We enjoyed the compactness of the country and the friendliness of the people. Barb was quite taken back by the Organic garden we visited. The history of the place was my thing. The visit to the museum and the forts opened up some interesting thing for me to follow up on. Sentosa Beach was great and we certainly recommend the are for a pleasant dip. Our hotel was right in the downtown area with plenty of food outlets with Raffles just up the road.Click on the arrow to View a Sideshow of out Singapore Visit.
